As a reminder to attorneys and families, Governor Pritzker's March 20th Executive Order 2020-10, the "Stay at Home Order," does not apply to court-ordered visitation. (See paragraph 14e.) Current court orders are to be followed unless parents and/or guardians agree to other arrangements.
The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted many lives. It is a highly contagious and dangerous disease. For public and staff safety courts are only able to hold emergency hearings. Each family situation is unique. These are stressful times for all children and cooperation between the adults in their lives is as important as ever. APPLICATION FOR APPOINTMENT OF HENRY COUNTY PUBLIC DEFENDER
Applications for the Public Defender of Henry County will be available online for any interested applicants. You may access online packet by visiting the Henry County Website Homepage at henrycty.com: click on Job Postings or the Rock Island County Website Homepage at rockislandcounty.org: click on Court Administration. This application
must be returned to the Court Administration Office, 1317 - 3rd Avenue, Suite 304, Rock Island, Illinois 61201 or email to vbluedorn@co.rock-island.il.us no later than 4:00 p.m. on December 11, 2020.
