Circuit Clerk's OfficeFelony Division
The Circuit Clerk's office is responsible for maintaining all criminal felonies, misdemeanors and traffic violations records within Rock Island County. Some examples of criminal cases that are filed within the Criminal Division are:
On an average, the Circuit Clerk's Office files 1,200 new felony cases each year. Our office is located on the fourth (4th) floor of the Justice Center at 1317 - Third Avenue, in Rock Island, Illinois. Please contact the Rock Island County jail to check on inmate information. Court is held everyday at 1:00 pm at the jail for first appearances on a case and for individuals arrested on a warrant. If you would like to look up information on a case, please go to our Court Records Search website for Specific Case Information, Court Date Information and Payment History. Click on Search to start. Enter your last name followed by a comma and then your first name, or enter your case number if available. On the history tab of a case, you can view court date information and bond amounts. On the payment tab, you can view payment history information. Making Payments (on Felony cases only) If you have entered into a payment plan to pay your Felony fine, you are responsible for making that payment by the third (3rd) Friday of each month. We offer several ways of making your payments:
In Person By Mail Drop Box Online By Phone If you are unable to make your payment, you need to come to court at 1:30 PM on that third (3rd) Friday of the month at the Criminal Justice Center.
